Duties and Responsibilities
The consultant is being recruited to lead the custom design - and facilitation- of a virtual bespoke workshop for UNDRR staff members who are leading the preparations of respective sessions for the Global Platform 2025.
This bespoke workshop is concieved as one important pitstop on the overall quality control process of the substantive preparations towards the 2025 Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction. It is anticipated that elements of Design Thinking; Play-based Learning; and other frontier organizational effectiveness methodologies be used to design the workshop.
Duties will include:
1.Conducting user interviews with relevant UNDRR colleagues to understand the baseline of preparations and the aspirations of success at the Global Platform.
2.Design a 4 hour workshop bringing to bear a range of relevant methodologies for organizational effectiveness.
3.Deliver workshop.
4. Obtain user feedback.
5.Prepare final report including recommendations for the future.
Concrete deliverables:
Deliverable 1: Summary of user interviews with 3-5 select Session Focal Points and extended group interview with 2025GP Secretariat Team.
Deliverable 2: Proposal/presentation on programme and methodology of 4-hour workshop, which is consequently revised per 2 rounds of feedback from GP Team.
Deliverable 3: 4-hour Workshop delivered twice
Deliverable 4: Final summary and recommendations.
